South Florida PR firm executives receive magazine's
2010 Movers & Shakers Award
MIAMI, Fla. - Boardroom Communications, a full service Florida public relations agency focusing on media relations, integrated online and traditional marketing and crisis management, announced that COO Don Silver and Executive Vice President Todd Templin were the recipients of South Florida Business Leader Magazine's 2010 Movers & Shakers Award.
Silver is involved in the several organizations as a board member, speaker and advisor. He has been active in the Legal Marketing Association for more than 10 years and is the past Chairman of the South Florida City Group. He is currently the Chairman of the Executive Council for Legal Aid Services of Broward County/Collier County and was tapped by the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP) to join its board of directors as Vice President of Communications. He counsels Florida law firms, not-for-profits and large private and public companies on media relations, crisis management, online marketing (SEO and SEM) and new business development.
Templin specializes in crisis communications and media training and has created media campaigns for some of the firm's highest profile clients. Prior to entering the public relations field, Templin worked for 16 years in the television news business at the local and network levels. He is a past two-term chairman of the Weston Business Chamber of Commerce, serves on the board of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, an advisory board member for Florida's Children First, and a member of the Broward Professionals Alliance. He was also recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Broward Red Cross.
